Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has named substitutes Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela as two positives from his team’s defeat on Thursday night.
Spurs were beaten 1-0 at home to Chelsea last night in a Premier League fixture, which saw them slip to seventh in the table.
The North London club have now lost three consecutive games in the league and talk about them being title contenders a couple of months ago now seems a million miles away.
Visitors Chelsea dominated the opening 45 minutes and looked in control for the majority of the contest, albeit there was a late surge of pressure from Spurs.
Attackers Moura and Lamela entered the action in the final 20 minutes to inject a small spark, but ultimately they ended up on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline.
Mourinho did find a positive from the contribution of the two players.
“I believe that Lucas and Lamela they helped the team to change a little bit the dynamic,” Mourinho told BT Sport.

TBR’s View:
Spurs host strugglers West Brom on Sunday in their next match and it’ll be intriguing to see if the manager makes changes to his XI.
After quiet performances from both Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius against Chelsea, the duo of Moura and Lamela may feel like they’ve got a chance of being recalled to the side.
With Harry Kane missing through injury right now, it’s up to the other forward players in the squad to step up.
