Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that Spurs missed Tanguy Ndombele in their Europa League midweek defeat.
The 23-year-old midfielder did not travel to Belgium as he was struggling with fatigue, but is expected to return to the fold when Tottenham host Brighton on Sunday.
Likewise, Spurs are hoping to welcome back Eric Dier, who was given a rest after featuring against Burnley due to a muscular injury he suffered on England duty.

Admitting that Tottenham missed Ndombele due to his speed, ability to think fast and get the ball moving forward, Mourinho is optimistic that he’ll feature against the Seagulls.
“Hope so, hope so,” Mourinho told Football London when asked if Ndombele and Dier would feature at the weekend.
“Dier had a little, no quite an important injury in the national team, couldn’t play a couple of matches for us.
Played against Burnley, would be a risk to play tonight [Antwerp], but I expect him to be fine for the next one.
“And Tanguy felt just a little sign of fatigue in a muscular area and he was also protected.
Normally tomorrow he is training normal and is ready to play Sunday, and to be honest we missed him – because he gives speed to the team.
“Thinking quick, thinking fast moving the ball quick and fast, we missed him.”
TBR View:
It’s great to see Ndombele doing well at Spurs following a difficult maiden season in North London.
Judging by Mourinho’s comments, it looks as though the £200,000-a-week ace is now high up on the Portuguese’s team sheet.
Tottenham flattered to deceive in midweek with a much-changed squad, but a stronger line-up should yield a much better performance and hopefully a more positive result in the league this weekend.
