Kylian Mbappe has told The Mirror that Liverpool have been a “machine” this season as they sit 25 points clear of Manchester City and are just two wins away from winning the Premier League – prompting reaction from Jose Enrique on Instagram.
World Cup winner Mbappe, 21, has been in stunning form for Paris Saint-Germain once again this season – scoring an enormous 30 goals and laying on 17 assists in just 43 outings. He has already played 180 times at senior level.
Strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, French outlet Le10Sport have recently claimed that Jurgen Klopp has contacted Mbappe’s father to discuss a move to Anfield – while the Mirror claim he would cost an enormous £250million.
Mbappe has now heaped praise on Liverpool amid reported interest from the soon-to-be Premier League champions, and believes much of Liverpool’s excellent form is down to manager Jurgen Klopp.

“Liverpool have been a machine in the Premier League,” Mbappe said. “They have made winning look easy but the truth is that it is never easy. To be that ruthless comes from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager.”
Mbappe is just one of a number of young attackers that have been repeatedly linked with a move to Klopp’s Liverpool, who are likely to need additions in the final third as competition for Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino.
Ex-Liverpool defender and Reds supporter Enrique reacted to his comments on Instagram, urging the France international to join Liverpool in the coming months, as the summer transfer window approaches.
