Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique believes Andy Robertson is currently the best left-back in world football.
The Scotland international has been a revelation at Anfield since his £10 million transfer from Hull City in 2017 (BBC Sport).

Robertson has played a pivotal role in the Reds becoming a genuine force over the past couple of years, with he and Trent Alexander-Arnold regularly lauded for their contributions in the final third.
The 25-year-old, who chalked up 13 assists in all competitions in 2018/19, is a huge favourite with the Anfield faithful, and Enrique reckons there is nobody better in his position.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “He is unbelievable. I’ve said it before, for me, last year he was the best left-back in the world.

“I know that was given to Marcelo but that was not fair in my opinion. Not just because Liverpool won the Champions League but because he has been an amazing player for Liverpool.
“He gives so much to that side. And him and Mane together [on Liverpool’s left] – I wouldn’t want to be on the right side for the other team.”
Brazilian Marcelo was surprisingly named in FIFA’s latest World XI, which did not go down well with Liverpool fans and neutrals.
TBR’s view
Robertson has been outstanding for Liverpool and arguably represents one of the club’s best-ever bargain signings.

The energetic ace is an amazing outlet for the Reds and his partnership with Mane continues to thrive.
In terms of the competition to his status as the best, perhaps Jordi Alba is his main rival these days – the Spaniard actually tabled more assists in all competitions last term (17) and remains a fine full-back despite his advancing years.
There is something about the dynamism of Robertson in both attack and defence though that perhaps just gives him the edge.
