Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, Jorginho has been discussing Sterling’s move to Arsenal, and he says that even he was shocked by this late loan switch.

Jorginho shocked by Raheem Sterling move

The Italian shared how he thought when he saw this deal going through.

“I am honestly not there looking at the news and stuff like that, because it’s mad. It’s different now, there’s even too much information there, and sometimes it’s not even true,” Jorginho said.

“It was the day of the game, I woke up and people were talking I was like ‘What?’”

“Then we found out that he was coming, and he’s going to be great for us with his qualities. He’s won already, I think it was a good signing and I think he can add a lot to the team.”

Raheem Sterling move was a shock

The fact that even Jorginho was shocked by this Sterling move goes to show how much of a surprise this deal was.

Jorginho is an Arsenal player and he knew Sterilng from his time at Chelsea, and even he didn’t catch wind of this deal.

Sterling’s late move to Arsenal shocked everyone, and now, it’s time for the winger to show the Gunners what he’s all about.
