After a handful of appearances for the Leeds United first-team, a loan move away from Elland Road appeared to be the next step for Jordan Stevens in the summer.
Stevens initially joined Swindon Town in League One. And a goal on his debut hinted that the move was going to prove inspired.

Unfortunately, the 20-year-old has not managed to kick on from there. He only made six starts for the Robins before Leeds decided to send him to Bradford City in January.
Dropping down a division looked set to hand the youngster a better platform to get games under his belt. However, that decision is yet to be vindicated.
The former Forest Green man has made 13 appearances for the Bantams. But he has only made one start. And he has enjoyed less than a third of the game-time he had at the County Ground (via Whoscored).

It is too soon to write Stevens off. Marcelo Bielsa has previously lauded him for his ‘good quality’ and speed after handing him his senior debut for the club (via Yorkshire Evening Post).
But there is surely no question that he is going to return in a worse position in the pecking order than the one he was in when he left.
Not only has he struggled for game-time, but Leeds have bolstered their wide options in the last 18 months.
Ian Poveda is now an established member of the first-team, having initially been forced to bide his time following his move.
Meanwhile, Crysencio Summerville has become one of the most exciting prospects in the under-23s. He is surely edging closer to that first-team chance.
Stevens may only need one piece of good fortune to put himself right back in the mix upon his return.
But it certainly looks set to be an uphill battle for the starlet.
