Alfredo Morelos netted his second goal against Celtic in Rangers colours on Sunday afternoon as Steven Gerrard’s side added a gloss to what has been a brilliant season with a 4-1 win over their Old Firm rivals – and Jordan Jones has reacted on Instagram.
The Gers put Celtic to the sword in what was Scott Brown’s last Old Firm derby for Celtic ahead of his move to Aberdeen. Morelos had failed to break his duck against Celtic but this season he has scored twice, the second coming on Sunday.
Morelos, 24, took his tally to 17 goals this season as he cut inside, nutmegging Scott Brown and then lashing a left-footed effort into the roof of the Celtic net past goalkeeper Scott Bain. A brilliant goal, taking his goal involvements to a huge 29 this term.
Morelos posted on Instagram after the match, posting a series of emojis as Rangers continue their unbeaten run in the top tier of Scottish football. With just two more games to play, Rangers have the chance to surpass 100 points, and remain without loss.
Jones replied to the Colombia international’s post on Instagram, as the Sunderland loanee watched his parent club annihilate Celtic with a brilliant performance. The Northern Ireland international told Morelos that he loved him, in the comments.
