Jordan Henderson has taken to Instagram to express his delight at being reunited with former Liverpool teammate Danny Ings on England duty ahead of the Three Lions’s triple header.
Ings will be looking to pick up only his third cap for his country in the coming days. He made his debut in 2015 shortly after joining Liverpool.

Meanwhile, he had to wait almost five years to double his tally. The Southampton talisman was rewarded for his stunning season in the Premier League last term with a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad last month.
But with Henderson missing the last break due to injury, this week could see the first time the pair have shared the pitch as teammates since May 2018.

On that occasion, Ings came on for the final six minutes as Liverpool beat Brighton 4-0 at Anfield. It would prove to be his final appearance for the Reds before joining Southampton on loan.
And ahead of the games with Wales, Belgium and Denmark, Henderson paid tribute to the striker as he posted a photo of the pair in training.
Here is Henderson’s post on Instagram…
Most Liverpool fans will be delighted to see how Ings has got on since joining Southampton. He endured a torrid run of luck with injury during his time on Merseyside.
A move to St Mary’s has worked out well for all parties – with Ings winning his place back in the England fold five years after his international bow.
