Jordan Henderson and Jack Grealish react as reported £80m Manchester City and Liverpool target shines
Jordan Henderson and Jack Grealish have reacted after Jude Bellingham scored – amid reported interest from Liverpool and Manchester City.
Bellingham, 18, netted his second goal of the season in what was his seventh appearance for the German club this season. He also got an assist.
Facing Besiktas in the Champions League on Wednesday night, the ex-Blues star chested and volleyed an effort to put Dortmund 1-0 up in Turkey.
Then, England Euro 2020 star Bellingham created something from nothing. Going past a player from a throw-in, he teed up Erling Haaland to tap home.
Besiktas did score but Dortmund held on to win 2-1. Bellingham was impeccable, and the midfielder posted on Instagram after the match.
Bellingham shines: Liverpool and Manchester City stars Henderson and Grealish react
Bellingham is probably the most-exciting English talent in European football right now. At least, on a par with Jadon Sancho or Bukayo Saka.
But Bellingham is much younger than those. At just 18, and only 19 in June, he has already surpassed more than 100 games for club and country.
Obviously, Premier League clubs are keen. The Daily Star say Manchester City and Liverpool want the £80million-rated ace next summer.
Dortmund are likely to be raking the cash in over the next 12 months, with Erling Haaland’s release clause coming into play.
Amid reports linking Liverpool and Manchester City, both Grealish and Henderson applauded Bellingham – both commenting “love to see it”.
James Maddison and Demarai Gray also responded.
