Evans, along with the two players he raved about, could all do a very good job at the clubs Leicester are rivalling for the top six, or even the top four.
The club has a clear recruitment strategy, which is not on evidence elsewhere, and Brendan Rodgers is doing a great job of unlocking their potential.
Liverpool away will be the real acid test of a squad which has perhaps lacked a touch of conviction away from home against the very best sides this term – but the class is there to get a result.
