Jonathan Woodgate has delivered an exciting 11-word Instagram prediction after Eddie Howe was unveiled at Newcastle United on Wednesday.

Howe, 43, has now taken two training sessions after putting pen to paper on a contract until June 2024. On Wednesday, he fulfilled media duties.

Posing at St. James’ Park with the Newcastle shirt alongside co-owner Amanda Staveley and her husband, Howe is fully installed as Toon boss.

Interviews and press conferences have also impressed Toon supporters. He looks like a really good fit for Newcastle – and Woodgate has a prediction.

He commented on Newcastle’s post with an 11-word verdict, expecting St. James’ Park to be bouncing come next Saturday against Brentford.
