John Terry has taken to Twitter during Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Tuesday to laud Oleksandr Zinchenko as the Gunners were held to a goalless draw at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta’s men endured a frustrating night. They had the opportunity to go 10 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. However, they were ultimately unable to find that winning goal against the high-flying Magpies.

Arsenal felt aggrieved that they did not get a penalty. The first shout certainly appeared to be worthy of a spot-kick as Gabriel Magalhaes was hauled to the ground. However, the second call was rightly judged to not be handball by the VAR.

Arsenal dominated the game. But they found it difficult to break Newcastle down, with the Magpies willing to pack the box with bodies and make life tough for the Gunners.

There were glimpses of Arsenal being at their best. However, it is probably fair to say that they were ultimately unable to find that top gear.
Nevertheless, one member of the Gunners squad was able to impress Terry. The former Chelsea captain took to social media to heap praise on Zinchenko…
No player completed more passes than the Ukrainian, according to Whoscored. But it did appear to not exactly be one of his standout displays since his move to North London.
However, you cannot disagree with Terry’s assessment about Zinchenko. He has been an outstanding signing for the Gunners, even though he has had problems with injury.
He is a winner. And his arrival has clearly had a huge impact on the mentality at Arsenal.
