‘Player’: John Terry wowed by one Liverpool star’s performance against West Ham

Chelsea and Liverpool don’t always go hand in hand but it seems even the Blues’ legendary skipper, John Terry, is impressed by what’s going down at Anfield.

Well, in particular, he seems to be impressed with the signing of Luis Diaz. The Colombian was once again in fine form and looked the Reds’ most dangerous player against the Hammers this evening.

Diaz, who was pinched from under the noses of Tottenham in January, has been outstanding ever since he made his debut and seems to be getting better and better. A number of pundits, fans, and fellow players have sung his praises since he started playing and on social media tonight, John Terry became the latest.

Taking to his account on Twitter, the former Chelsea captain admitted he was wowed by the Liverpool man.

As we all know, Chelsea and Terry enjoyed some hard battles with the Reds over the years, including that infamous Champions League semi-final in 05.

But Diaz, it seems, is that impressive that even the bitter enemy has to applaud him.

We feel like we say his most weeks but Luis Diaz is simply brilliant. He seems to be getting better as well and while West Ham did hold firm, the Colombian was excellent.

He was a threat all evening and if he continues like this, the goals and assists will soon start to flow.

Liverpool fans must be pinching themselves really. A player who looked on his way to Spurs is now starring for them.
