John McGinn has told Aston Villa’s official website that you need two days off to rest after facing Leeds United ahead of Friday’s clash between the two.
The Villans are looking to extend their flawless start to the campaign tomorrow. Dean Smith’s men have won their opening four games in the Premier League this term.

But it is certainly not going to be easy for Villa. Leeds have impressed many with their performances so far. And they have taken seven points from a run of five games that included meetings with Liverpool and Manchester City.
One of the Whites’ strongest attributes, as a team, is their fitness. Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been relentless in each of their games.

And McGinn suggested that it is likely to take Villa longer to recover after facing Leeds than it would against other sides in the top flight.
“I think I speak for most Premier League teams when I say that Leeds is one of the most difficult fixtures on the calendar,” he told the club’s official website.
“You need a couple of days off after you’ve played them, but hopefully they’ll be tired from their game against Wolves.”
It may be fair to say that it may prove to be a particularly tough night for Dean Smith’s men following Leeds’s latest result.
The Whites were beaten 1-0 by Wolves at Elland Road on Monday. Bielsa’s men endured arguably their most frustrating 90 minutes since being promoted.
They, once again, played some excellent football. However, they struggled to turn their pressure into clear-cut chances. And they were punished during the second-half.
Leeds will therefore be desperate to put things right. And they will also be under no illusions as to how difficult beating Villa will be given their start.
Smith’s men go into the game as favourites. But McGinn and his teammates will know that any complacency could really cost them.
