John Hartson has urged Arsenal to appoint Mauricio Pochettino following the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with newly-promoted Norwich City on Sunday afternoon, as Freddie Ljungberg failed to gain a win in his first game in charge.
Norwich were unlucky not to secure all three points at Carrow Road. Todd Cantwell shone for Norwich as he and Teemu Pukki both found the back of the net, cancelling out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brace.
Pochettino remains out of work following his Tottenham sacking, which has since seen Jose Mourinho win his first three games in charge against West Ham, Olympiacos and Bournemouth. Pochettino has said in the past he would never manage Spurs.
But that was a long time ago and former Arsenal striker Hartson believes his old side need to go out and hire Pochettino as soon as possible, after another desperate display from Arsenal’s defenders.
Arsenal go and get Potchettino now.. Available and best man for the job.

TBR’s view – Arsenal need a defensive coach, after Sunday shocker
Pochettino is an excellent manager but he is not what Arsenal need. The Gunners were all over the place at the back against Norwich, allowing the Canaries to have chance after chance and were unlucky not to win the match.
Jose Mourinho would have been perfect. The Gunners need a manager that can sort their defence out and let their excellent attackers go and score goals. Shoring up that defence will give Arsenal the basis to go and hurt Premier League teams.
