Celtic legend John Hartson has delivered his verdict on the Hoops’ 2-2 draw in the Scottish Premiership last night.

Neil Lennon’s charges headed to Livingston and, despite taking the lead, were pegged back and on the brink of defeat before a late equaliser salvaged a point for the Bhoys.

Celtic broke the deadlock through Callum McGregor’s 16th-minute strike but Jon Guthrie drew the hosts level on 24 minutes and Scott Robinson put them ahead early in the second half.

Despite dominating proceedings, the Hoops were struggling to find the equaliser, but managed to do so in injury time through Tom Rogic’s deflected shot.

Luckily for Celtic, they pulled further clear from Rangers, who went on to lose 1-0 at relegation-threatened Hamilton Academical, with a 13-point chasm now separating the two Glasgow teams.

Here is Hartson’s verdict on Celtic’s result, as well as his hopes for the title race:

Up next for the Bhoys is Saturday’s Premiership home game with St Mirren.

Celtic’s superb league run wasn’t going to last forever but things ended superbly on the night for the Hoops.

Livingston are a tricky proposition, having beaten Celtic 2-0 at the Tony Macaroni Arena earlier this season, and it didn’t prove an easy task for the Hoops.

However, they banged on the door time and time again and were duly rewarded with a late equaliser and a share of the spoils.

Rangers, meanwhile, fell to another dismal result in the league, and with 13 points now separating the two, it looks as though Parkhead will once again hold the title come the end of the season.
