Joe Willock says Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin is up there with the best dribblers of the ball he has trained alongside, and has “no fear”.
Newcastle are set to embark on a new era on Saturday afternoon, as the Toon play host to struggling Brentford at St. James’ Park.
Eddie Howe will take to the dugout for the first time. It is believed the new Toon gaffer will play a more-exciting, attacking brand of football.
It might get the best out of Toon’s attackers, giving Saint-Maximin more ammunition to get forward – and add to his five goal involvements in 21-22.
Willock has told the Premier League’s YouTube that Saint-Maximin is one of the best players in terms of dribbling he has trained alongside.

“Allan is up there in terms of training. He can beat everyone. He can get the ball and just beat five or six players, everyone is watching him. It’s crazy.
“I just jockey him, sometimes I clamp him though – don’t get it twisted, sometimes I get him. It’s hard, it’s a test. He has now fear,” Willock said.
Willock on Saint-Maximin: Newcastle star shines under Howe
Under Steve Bruce, Newcastle were incredibly defensive – as they were with Rafa Benitez in the dugout. The Toon were very pragmatic in approach.
But with Howe in charge, Newcastle will score goals. They will create chances, and they will be given more freedom in the final third.
More possession, more ammunition for their attacking stars to shine. Saint-Maximin will really have the chance to prove his quality under Howe.
