Joe Willock’s recent displays for Arsenal have certainly got fans talking. The 21-year-old was in fine form again this week as the Gunners defeated Molde in the Europa League.
The youngster took his record in the competition to two goals and two assists from three games and some Arsenal fans are now wondering if it is high time that the midfielder got his chance in the Premier League.

His excellent form is certainly highlighting the fact that Arsenal need to be careful with this precocious talent because he has thought about leaving before.
Arsenal youth expert Jeorge Bird shared this tweet in midweek, highlighting a report from five years ago which suggested that Willock was considering his long-term future at the club.
He would have been following in the footsteps of his older brothers. Chris Willock, now 22, joined Benfica in 2017 whilst Matty Willock, now 24, had already moved on to Manchester United in 2014.
But Joe remained and is now looking like the star of these three footballing brothers.
However, his form will undoubtedly have clubs from around Europe keeping tabs on the situation and Arsenal need to ensure that Willock feels included in the long-term plan at the club.
Arsenal fans will be pleased that the then 16-year-old Willock decided to stick around. However, there must be a fear he will be getting itchy feet at the Emirates once again.
