West Ham United are reportedly interested in Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan. As reported by Marca earlier this week, West Ham are ready to make a move for the 24-year-old this summer.
The report suggested Jordan has a release clause of €15 million (£13.25 million) which would seem in West Ham’s financial ball-park.
Of course, West Ham’s hunt for an extra midfielder is no secret. It seemed for a while that Andre Gomes could be the man that filled the role.
As reported by Marca, West Ham had a bid rejected for Gomes last week. The Guardian suggested the bid for the Everton loanee was in the £20 million region.

Everton are front-runners to sign the Portuguese star but it seems they will need to pay over £20 million for the midfielder.
West Ham could actually be getting a far better deal with Jordan.
For all the good Gomes did at Everton last season, he did tail off at times and his inconsistency is certainly a worry for some Everton fans.
Jordan, however, for a far reduced price, is a consistent performer who could add an extra dimension to the West Ham midfield.
At a bargain amount, Jordan might be the better option for West Ham anyway.
