Newcastle United defender Jetro Willems says he’ll be raring to go after the international break after overcoming a recent hamstring issue.
The 25-year-old put in a decent performance for the Magpies against Watford on Saturday, and will be hoping to keep his place in the starting XI for the next game against Liverpool.

The loan signing from Eintracht Frankfurt said (quoted by The Chronicle): “I am training normally now. Everything was OK to play against Watford, it was right to play and I’m fit to play.”
Willems shaking off his injury is good news for Magpies after the Dutchman offered a glimpse of his qualities against the Hornets at left wing-back.
The star is yet to start for his new club but may have given Steve Bruce something to think about over the next week or so.
TBR’s view
Willems appears to be very well suited to the left wing-back role.
The jury is out on his defensive capabilities, but Paul Dummett may be able to provide some cover as the left-sided centre-half.

It’s early days, but Willems arrived with an exciting reputation having impressed during his time at PSV Eindhoven specifically.
There’s every chance he will become an upgrade on Matt Ritchie if given a run in the side.
