New Leeds United manager, Jesse Marsch, will be keen to get off to the best start possible this weekend and it looks like he is more than willing to put the work in.

Marsch has been at Elland Road for just under a week now and faces a stiff test in the form of Leicester City for his first taste of Premier League action this weekend. The American is keen to hit the ground running, and has been more than open in this week’s press conferences about his intentions.

But behind the scenes, Leeds fans will be pleased to know it seems Marsch is also putting the graft in. According to The Telegraph, Marsch has already been working long hours. In fact, on just his second day in charge, it’s claimed that Marsch was still at Thorp Arch as late as 9pm. He is said to have been discussing tactics with Mark Jackson, as he looks to make his mark quickly.

Marsch, of course, knows he has to make an impression to move the club on from Marcelo Bielsa. And putting in such hours could be just what he needs to do.

TBR’s View: Marsch Impressing Already At Leeds

All fans want from a new manager is someone with a clear plan, an understanding of the club, and how they’re going to implement things. In Jesse Marsch, Leeds do seem to have got that.

He’s made a big impression this week with his interviews and it will be interesting to see how the Leeds players take to him.

Leeds, as we know, is a huge club. Marsch, then, seems to have grasped that from the off and seems more than willing to get things going quickly.
