Leeds United are being linked with a move for Jese Rodriguez. According to Estadio Deportivo, the West Yorkshire side are keen on the signature of the PSG attacker.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Betis. At the time, according to El Desmarque, Leeds made a move for the player as well. The report stated that Leeds also wanted the former Stoke City loanee the French giants, but in the end, decided against a temporary deal.

The 25-year-old was once considered a wonderkid in Spain after making his breakthrough at Real Madrid. So much so, that when PSG bought him in 2016, they paid a big fee reported by Sky Sports to be in the region of £21 million.

Which is why this deal would put the Championship on high alert.

Jese has struggled to match up to his early talent. However, he was once considered a future star of the Spanish national team.

With a pre-season under Marcelo Bielsa, he could find himself in the best shape of his career and he could undoubtedly thrive at Elland Road.

Bringing in a one time £21 million former Real Madrid star would undoubtedly have Championship rivals fearing the Whites.
