Tottenham have had some truly rapid players over the years.
The likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe were all incredibly quick.
Jermaine Jenas is one player who was fortunate enough to play with many of these speedsters at Spurs, but according to Jenas, the fastest player he ever worked with is a player Tottenham sold a few years ago.
Indeed, speaking to Goal on TikTok, Jenas was asked to create his perfect player made up of a number of attributes from many of his former teammates, and when it came to pace, he picked Kyle Walker.

Kyle Walker is the fastest
Jenas built his perfect footballer.
“Left foot,” Jenas was asked.
“Bale,” Jenas said.
“Right foot?”
“Shearer,” Jenas said.
“Speed?”
“Kyle Walker,” Jenas said.
“Strength?”
“Ledley King,” Jenas said.
Rapid
The fact that Walker has been picked as Jenas’ fastest ever teammate just goes to show how fast he actually is.
Jenas has played with the likes of Jenas and Bale, but Walker has come out ahead of everyone in terms of speed.
The scary thing is that the 33-year-old doesn’t seem to be slowing down. The right-back is as sharp as he has ever been for Man City, and he’s playing a huge part in their title race this season.
Unfortunately, Walker had to leave Tottenham in order to win trophies, and while that decision has ultimately been justified, we can’t help but think if Spurs could’ve been that bit more successful in recent years if they had Walker patrolling their right-flank rather than starring at the Etihad.
Walker may well be the best right-back we’ve ever seen in the Premier League, and while he will go down as a legend at Manchester City, he made his name at Tottenham and did some amazing work during his time in north London.
