Tottenham absolutely hammered Aston Villa tonight in the second half as they ran out comfortable winners to enhance their push for the top four places.
Harry Kane was once again behind everything as he registered three assists, while Heung-Min Son also helped himself to a hat-trick at Villa Park. The first half was a more even affair but as soon as Dejan Kulusevski scored in the second period, Spurs never looked back.

Antonio Conte’s men now find themselves three points clear of Arsenal in what has been another perfect weekend in their battle with their North London rivals. Conte, it seems, is really getting a tune out of this Tottenham team right now.
And taking to Twitter during the game, former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas tweeted out to say the Tottenham board must now give Antonio Conte whatever he wants at the club.
Conte is expected to want a number of new players this summer to add to the January additions of Bentancur and Kulusevski. And based on those two signings and the results of late, Daniel Levy will find it hard to say no.
TBR’s View: Conte Should Be Backed By Tottenham
Given this is how Conte has got Spurs going with just a few new additions, it could be frightening how good they can be if he is given even more quality.
Conte is making the most of his current crop and is getting the best out of those who were struggling under previous managers. It’s now four wins in a row and nine goals in two games, and the Italian is now in a position to make demands.
Tottenham, then, will be left with no option but to back their man. Even more so if he does deliver that top four finish.
