Tottenham are flying high in the table and Jose Mourinho’s men are already looking like proving former midfielder Jermaine Jenas wrong.
Spurs sit second behind Leicester City and in Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, appear to have two of the best attacking players in the world in their ranks.

And the start from the north London outfit is looking like firmly being able to put to bed a call from former player Jermaine Jenas in pre-season. Jenas, who was speaking for the BBC, predicted just a top six finish for Spurs at best.
“Spurs will be organised and get results but we are talking about a top-six finish rather than the top four. Even that will be a battle because Leicester and Wolves are going to be strong again, and Everton have made some good signings”, Jenas said.
With the Premier League appearing wide open and with no fans involved, there could well be a team who comes from nowhere to win.

Spurs could well be that team, especially with Kane and Son in the form of their lives. Jenas, of course, will no doubt be delighted to being proved wrong, with a top six finish looking the bare minimum now.

Everyone expected Tottenham to be ok under Mourinho but nobody expected him to be getting this sort of form out of the likes of Kane and Son.
They look unstoppable and it’s a nod back to his time in Madrid, when he built a defensively solid base but allowed his best attacking players to play with freedom.
Tottenham could genuinely win the league this season. And if they do, it will just once again cement Mourinho’s legacy in English football.
