Leeds United hero Jermaine Beckford was amongst those to reply to Luke Ayling on Instagram following the Whites’ win over Hull City – with Beckford labelling the defender’s goal ‘outrageous’.
Marcelo Bielsa’s stormed to a 4-0 victory at the KCOM Stadium. Leeds were outstanding during the second-half, scoring three times to wrap up the points.

The first-half proved to be much more difficult for the visitors. But they did find the back of the net during the first five minutes.
Ayling tried his luck from distance. Shortly after the attempt left his foot, the ball took a wicked deflection that sent it into the back of the net.

Ayling has actually been in good goalscoring form lately, with two goals coming in his last four appearances. In fact, no one has scored more goals during Leeds’s recent winning run.
Nevertheless, it is not all that surprising that the right-back has taken to social media to express his delight after getting on the scoresheet once again…
And in response, Beckford lauded the 28-year-old for his goal – though he did poke fun at the strike itself…

Ayling has been sensational in recent weeks. Like many of his teammates, he has really stepped up to help Leeds reestablish themselves as one of the favourites in the promotion race.
And his goal was hugely significant at the weekend. With Leeds often struggling to find the back of the net throughout the season, the early strike would have settled the nerves somewhat.
And when Pablo Hernandez made the score 2-0 early on in the second-half, the Whites had licence to play some devastating football.
