Leeds United’s January signing Jean-Kevin Augustin reacted on Twitter with delight after he watched his new team beat Millwall in a thrilling Championship fixture on Tuesday night.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were suffering a two-goal deficit at half-time, but produced a stunning second-half comeback to win 3-2 in the league and move to the top of the table.
Shaun Hutchinson and Jed Wallace from the penalty spot had put visitors Millwall in front.
But Patrick Bamford struck shortly after the restart and teammate Pablo Hernandez netted the equaliser soon after.
Bamford’s diving header turned the game on its head to make it 3-2 and the Yorkshire giants manage to hold on for maximum points, which also ended their recent poor form.
Augustin, who has joined from RB Leipzig, watched on from the stands the Whites in action.
The 22-year-old centre-forward hailed an incredible first night and praised the home support.
“What a first special night for me here, and I haven’t even played yet. Atmosphere is incredible credit to you all,” Augustin wrote on his personal Twitter account.

TBR’s View:
Augustin will hope his Leeds debut can come on Saturday against Wigan in the league and he will be walking into a side full of confidence after a dramatic comeback victory.
Bamford proved he won’t be giving up the striker position easily with his brace and the competition within the squad is exactly what’s needed to keep the promotion bid healthy.
Augustin is going to add more attacking firepower to the XI and should help finish off the countless chances that they seem to create in every game.
It was a second-half display that really showed Bielsa’s team at their attacking best and they have to keep the momentum going now.
