Harry Kane may have picked the worst possible time to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Indeed, as luck would have it, just as Kane left, Spurs have become one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League under Ange Postecoglou, and, to top it all off, Bayern Munich aren’t even leading the way in the Bundesliga.
Speaking on BBC 606, Chris Sutton has been discussing Kane’s mentality after leaving Tottenham, and he reckons the £86m man may be jealous of the players currently at Spurs, claiming that the England captain must wish he was still at Tottenham now.

Kane jealous of Tottenham
Sutton spoke with Robbie Savage about Kane and his view of this situation.
“Do you think Harry Kane could’ve played under Ange in this system?” Savage asked.
“Is that one of the most stupid questions you’ve asked me? Harry Kane is doing brilliantly in the Bundesliga isn’t he, but there will be a tinge of jealousy thinking he should’ve just played a season under Ange. I’m sure there’s a tinge of jealousy because he loves Tottenham, Bayern aren’t guaranteed a title,” Sutton said.
Could end up regretting it
We wouldn’t go as far as to say Kane is already regretting his decision, but, at the same time, he could end up regretting his move to Bayern.
There’s a very realistic possibility that this will be Bayern’s first season in a long time without any major silverware, while Spurs are on track for their most exciting season in a long time, and things only look to be getting better and better.
Tottenham have something special brewing, and as a club legend, Kane surely has a part of him that wishes he could be a part of this.
Sadly, Kane left Tottenham just as things were about to change in north London, and he could well end up living to regret that decision ever so slightly in the coming years.
