As reported by France Football (via GFFN), Everton are considering launching a £35 million move for RB Leipzig striker Jean-Kévin Augustin.
The Toffees have been using Richarlison as their main striker in recent weeks.
It would appear Marco Silva doesn’t trust £28 million Sam Allardyce signing Cenk Tosun to lead the line, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin currently viewed as back-up and Oumar Niasse rarely used at all.

Augustin has been impressing over in the Bundesliga, having scored eight goals in 25 appearances last term.
This season he has three goals in the league from 10 appearances (only three of which have been starts), and a further three coming in cup competitions.
Would Augustin’s signing spell trouble for Bernard?
If Everton were to bring the French U21 forward in, then there’s a chance Bernard might be the player to lose his place in the side.
The Brazilian has been operating out on the left wing recently having finally broken into the side following his move to Goodison Park in the summer.
He is yet to hit top gear in English football, but he has shown flashes of brilliance.

If Augustin came in for the Toffees, then it could see Silva move current striker Richarlison back out to the left wing which would see Bernard lose his place.
The Brazilian might be hoping that nothing has changed regarding Farhad Moshiri’s comments on talkSPORT last month that the club would not be signing any players in January.
