Jan Vertonghen remains a Tottenham Hotspur icon and he has posted a hilarious two-word reaction on Twitter after a video emerged of Moussa Sissoko being embarrassed during warm-up, by on-loan midfielder Oliver Skipp.
Skipp, 20, has been excellent while on loan at Norwich City this season – starting every single one of their 38 Championship fixtures. The England Under-21 midfielder has helped Norwich climb to the top of the table, sitting eight points clear.
His performances have earned rave reviews among Norwich fans who are keen to keep Skipp for what is likely to be a Premier League campaign next season. Spurs fans have also praised Skipp, and many want him to become a regular next term.
The midfielder had turned out 23 times for the club’s senior side and is well-liked by Jose Mourinho. Now, a video has emerged on social media of Skipp nutmegging veteran Sissoko with a lovely bit of skill during a warm-up from some time ago.

Returning to Tottenham in the summer, it will be interesting to see what Mourinho does with Skipp – if, of course, Mourinho is still in the dugout. Indeed, he might be a replacement for Sissoko, who has struggled to retain his place in midfield this term.
Vertonghen responded to the video with a hilarious two-word reaction as £30million (BBC) signing Sissoko is embarrassed by Skipp – posting: “lovely this” and three laughing emojis.
