Jamie Vardy would join exciting Everton project under Marco Silva

In recent weeks, Everton have been linked with a move for Jamie Vardy.

According to The Mirror, Vardy could be looking for a route away from Leicester due to his strained relationship with Claude Puel.

Everton are reportedly lining up a January swoop for the ex-England international as they consider their options up front.

Cenk Tosun has only scored two goals this season and Oumar Niasse is not fancied by Marco Silva.

As a result, Richarlison has been playing up front – a move which seems to be paying dividends at the moment.

But Everton still may try to bring in another striker to increase competition and give Richarlison the option of playing out wide again.

Vardy would be an interesting option for the Toffees and this is surely a tempting move for him.

If the 31-year-old is not content at Leicester, this is the time to move. It is too late in his career to have any regrets.
