Leeds United cruised to a 3-0 victory away to Salford City on Tuesday night and midfielder Jamie Shackleton is one of the players that caught the eye.
The Whites cruised to a win in the first round of the Carabao Cup and host Stoke City at Elland Road in the next round.
Shackleton played 90 minutes during his first appearance of the campaign and he was extremely bright in the centre of the park.
The central midfielder popped up all over with his great energy and also provided a crucial defence-splitting pass in the build up for the opening goal scored by loanee Eddie Nketiah.
He has to surely be knocking on the door for more changes under Marcelo Bielsa and should be targeting minutes in the league.

Shackleton is an academy graduate that looks ready to make his mark in more games and he’s someone that is confident on the ball, which makes him an ideal fit for Bielsa’s style of play.
The 19-year-old would be brilliant fresh legs for Leeds to introduce in the league, as he’s got a tremendous work-rate in the midfield and has an eye for a pass.
Leeds face Wigan Athletic, Brentford and Stoke City during a seven-day spell coming up, which may be the perfect time for Shackleton to come into the fold at some stage.
