Arsenal saw off Leicester City this evening and Aaron Ramsdale was once again the man of the moment as he produced another fine display against the Foxes.

Ramsdale capped off his performance for the Gunners with an unbelievable save from Harvey Barnes’ header. Of course, the save brought back bad memories for Leicester, who saw Ramsdale pull off another miracle save at the King Power earlier in the season.

Ramsdale’s form has caused people to talk about him replacing Jordan Pickford as England number one. And according to Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp, he is a player who has everything needed.

“It’s an interesting one with two big games coming up. What I like about him is he ticks every box. He’s not just a good goalkeeper. He played a ball into Partey in midfield today that – even Glenn Hoddle couldn’t have played it – it was just unbelievable. A modern goalkeeper has to be good on the ball,” Redknapp said live on Sky tonight.

Ramsdale took a knock late on but seemed fine after a swift recovery and was once again celebrating with the Arsenal fans at the end. In terms of summer signings going against the grain, Aaron Ramsdale is proving everyone wrong.

TBR’s View: Ramsdale Has To Get England Chance

While Gareth Southgate does indeed trust Jordan Pickford, how can he maintain being number one playing for a poor Everton side while Ramsdale is flying with Arsenal? Surely he has to lose out soon.

If it happens, then Ramsdale is more than worthy. He has been outstanding lately and his save today was simply breathtaking.
