Jamie Redknapp has claimed that Liverpool will be fearful of Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen ahead of the Champions League final.
Spurs and Liverpool are hours away from the all-English clash in the Champions League final in Madrid.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team go into the fixture as slight underdogs, but have an incredible road to get to the final.
Meanwhile, Liverpool lost to Real Madrid in last season’s final and will be hoping to go one better this time around.
Redknapp, who played for both Liverpool and Spurs as a player, claims that Eriksen is someone to watch out for in the European showdown.
The 27-year-old is an ever-present in Pochettino’s XI and has once again had an excellent campaign in North London.
He is an attacking midfielder that has made 50 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals and supplying 17 assists in return.
“The maestro. He’s got that X Factor and, believe me, Liverpool will be worried about what this guy is capable of,” Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail.

TBR’s View:
Eriksen is perhaps one superstar that has gone under the radar in the build-up to the final, but he’s definitely got the quality to be a match-winner in Madrid.
The Denmark international is an assist machine that will be able to help unpick a resilient Liverpool defence and it could take just one through ball to unleash the pace of Lucas Moura or Heung-Min Son.
He’s been such a consistent performer since he joined Spurs for £11.5million (BBC) back in 2013 and he definitely deserves a piece of silverware to his name.
Liverpool’s defensive midfielder Fabinho though is likely to be the obstacle he has to overcome in the centre of the park.
