Jamie Redknapp has raved about in-form Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen after he helped his side to a narrow victory over Brighton on Tuesday night.
Spurs beat Brighton 1-0 in the Premier League to make it four wins out of four in their new stadium and are beginning to create a fortress.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominated proceedings against a Brighton team fighting relegation and their pressure finally paid off in the 88th minute.
Eriksen unleashed a left-footed shot from range that kept low and had too much power for goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
The 27-year-old playmaker has found great success at the new ground, as he’s been directly involved in five of the eight goals they have scored.
“It’s a brilliant strike and this stadium has breathed life into him,” Redknapp said on Sky Sports’ main event channel (9:50pm, 23 April).
“Until he came here he was having a bit of a spell. He is a brilliant technical player off either foot and that’s a great strike, unstoppable.”

TBR’s View:
Eriksen has once again been a key player for Pochettino’s team and is stepping up in the absence of centre-forward Harry Kane.
The Denmark international now has nine goals and 17 assists across all competitions so far this campaign, with the new stadium bringing the best out of him.
He did receive some criticism from some fans earlier in the season for some inconsistent displays, but in the moments he’s a match-winner for them and delivering.
Spurs snapped up Eriksen for £11.5million (BBC) back in 2015 and he’s been a colossal bargain.
