Jamie O’Hara has confidently claimed that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is the best number nine in the world and has the whole package as a striker.
The 26-year-old has developed into an elite attacker at Spurs that is feared by defences all over the world.
He’s now the England captain for Gareth Southgate’s side and scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Bulgaria at the weekend in a European Championship qualifying match.
The centre-forward has three goals from his opening four Premier League games this season and is showing he’s clinical from the penalty spot.
Ex-Spurs midfielder O’Hara believes that Kane is the best in the business at striker and hailed him as a special talent.
“For me he is the best number nine in the world I genuinely believe that,” O’Hara told talksSPORT,
“He has got everything, he gives you everything as a player. He scores, he sets up, he works hard for the team, amazing at penalties. You name a better number nine in the world right now, for me I don’t think there is one.”
Kane is an absolute goal machine that has the potential to break so many records for club and country if he keeps going over the next few years.
He should soon be entering the peak years of his career as a player and it’s true that he can score all types of goals.
The striker has a ruthless touch in the final third that sets him apart from most and the 2018 World Cup golden boot winner deserves to be considered one of the best.
England host Kosovo on Tuesday night in another qualifier and it would be no surprise if Kane gets on the scoresheet.
