Manchester United look to be in the market for potential deals in the final days of the transfer window, with outgoings set to boost their budget.
With Scott McTominay’s exit to Napoli edging closer, United have already replaced the academy graduate with PSG’s Manuel Ugarte on his way to Old Trafford.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Willy Kambwala and Facundo Pellistri have also left for fees this summer as Erik ten Hag looks to reshape his FA Cup-winning side.
INEOS have been busy on the incomings as well. Young French star Leny Yoro has joined from Lille, whilst a double swoop for Bayern Munich’s Mattijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui has strengthened United’s backline.
Joshua Zirkzee has bolstered the Red Devils’ striker position, but further additions could be required to support the youth of Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo out wide.
Jadon Sancho is being linked with a move away from Old Trafford to Premier League rivals, Chelsea. If United look to replace the winger, top pundits believe that the Red Devils can come out on top in a potential exchange with Todd Boehly’s club.

Jamie O’Hara says Raheem Sterling is “better than Mason Mount” amid Manchester United links
Rumours suggest that Chelsea and Manchester United are discussing a deal that would see Raheem Sterling move to Old Trafford, with Sancho going the other way. According to Jamie O’Hara, United fans should be excited by the news.
Speaking on talkSPORT’s The Sports Bar with Jermaine Pennant on Tuesday evening’s show [10:10PM], O’Hara said the England star would be “a fantastic signing”, adding that Sterling is “better than Mason Mount”, who has struggled since arriving at Old Trafford from Chelsea.
Mount has only managed a single league goal since his move to Manchester, whilst Sterling scored eight goals in a season of transition and struggle at Stamford Bridge.
With his links to both Liverpool and Manchester City, United fans may need time to come around to Sterling, but the 29-year-old’s Premier League pedigree could be a real asset to the club’s youthful attacking ranks.
Does Raheem Sterling still have something to offer Manchester United?
Manchester United’s options out wide are a constant talking point. The promise of Garnacho and Diallo needs nurturing, Marcus Rashford is equally inspiring and frustrating for fans and Sancho remains out of favour at the club.
O’Hara continued to say: “You can’t tell me that Raheem Sterling at 29 years old can’t still do it at the top.” His time at Chelsea may have underwhelmed but his quality has been proven over many years at the top of English football.
Neither Rashford nor Garnacho managed more league goals than Sterling last season, leaving United with a potential added source of goals to compliment their current starting options.
It’s worth remembering too that, when on form, Sterling proved that he can score over 20 league goals when at Manchester City. If ten Hag can help the English winger refind that form, United could be in possession of a truly elite forward.
