Jamie O’Hara was left extremely frustrated on Thursady night after his former club Tottenham were beaten at home to Chelsea in the Premier League.
Spurs suffered a 1-0 loss to their London rivals, who leapfrogged above them into sixth in the league table.
Jorginho’s first-half penalty separated the team and it was a content where the hosts offered very little going forward, apart from a late Carlos Vinicius header that he put wide.
With Harry Kane sidelined through injury, it was visibly noticeable the impact he makes for Spurs.
O’Hara claimed on Twitter that under former boss Mauricio Pochettino they found a way to cope without the star centre-forward, but feels that isn’t the same under current manager Jose Mourinho.
He added that the team’s tactics meant the midfield pairing Moussa Sissoko and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg were left “lost” at times.
TBR’s View:
Spurs look completely unrecognisable from the team that were top of the league table at one stage earlier in the season, as now it looks like they’ve got a huge fight on their hands to try finish in the top four.
The difference that 27-year-old striker Kane makes is alarming and it seems to completely fall to pieces without him in the XI.
It was difficult for midfields Hojbjerg and Sissoko to play with little movement ahead of them, something which was noticeable in the first-half.
They came into the contest more in the second period, but it was yet another underwhelming performance for supporters to watch.
