Former Spurs midfielder, Jamie O’Hara, believes Harry Kane will look to leave the club this summer, and compared it to Wayne Rooney’s situation at Everton.
Rooney left the Toffees as a teenager to move to Old Trafford. He went on to have unbelievable success with United, winning countless league titles and the Champions League to cement his legacy as an all-time great.

And O’Hara, who was speaking to Talksport today, believes Kane might have to consider something similar to get the success he believes he deserves.
“You talk about Wayne Rooney, he loved Everton but he went to Manchester United, had an incredible career, and won loads of titles,” O’Hara said.
“Now even if Harry won one Premier League title at Spurs, is that really enough for a world-class player? Someone who’s been a world-class player for a decade. As a Spurs fan, you’d love him to stay. But you look at the likes of City, Liverpool, and I can’t see Spurs getting up to that level by the time Harry is finishing his career.”

Talk is starting to gather pace in the media of late about Kane’s future. Even though Spurs expect a new contract to be signed, the wheels are in motion in terms of the press in terms of Kane potentially moving on.
TBR View: Kane is Mr Spurs but winning trophies is a big thing in football
Obviously, Harry Kane loves Spurs and he’d love nothing more than to bring success to the club. He has a chance of winning the League Cup this season, but will that be enough?
The best players in the world are judged not only on goals and individual merit but also on team success. Sadly, Spurs seem to be falling away from the title race this year and as O’Hara says, City and Liverpool will only improve, as will United.
Kane does have a big decision to make soon. The only saving grace for Spurs is they could demand well over £150m for the England man.
