Jamie O’Hara slams Tottenham and makes surprise Harry Kane claim

Former Tottenham midfielder has told TalkSPORT of his disgust at the club’s performance in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Leeds United. He has also called on Harry Kane to seek a move for himself during the summer.

Goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo ensured victory for the Whites, with Son Heung-min’s goal proving nothing more than a consolation.

Tottenham’s hopes of securing Champions League football are now over and they now face a fight to win themselves a spot in next season’s Europa League.

O’Hara is growing increasingly frustrated with his former club and vented his frustration on this morning’s breakfast show.

He told TalkSPORT: “If it wasn’t for Hugo Lloris it could have been five or six, we were shocking. We’re just so lacklustre when we play, there’s no intent to our game and I genuinely can’t wait for the season to end.

“I would take 10 new players arriving in the summer, I really would. Harry Kane has to leave. I’m sick of watching this poor man run around for that football side and getting nothing back from them.

“He’s giving them everything. In terms of the way we played, I’m just so over this season. It’s so dull to watch, watching Spurs.”

Tottenham have been in rotten form since the turn of the year in a season which needs quickly banishing to the history books.

Spurs need a new manager during the summer and they have to make sure the appointment is spot on.

As for Kane, he’ll continue to be as professional as ever but he must be getting fed up with the team’s inconsistent form.

Whether he stays at the club beyond the summer remains to be seen. First of all, Spurs must land a manager with the ambition to convince Kane that Tottenham is still the club for him.
