Jamie O’Hara has confidently claimed that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is by far the best striker in the Premier League.
Kane, 27, has been such a consistent goalscorer for several years in the top flight, which is why many believe he can go closest to breaking Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League scoring record.
England captain Kane has been in devastating form this season, scoring 31 goals and setting up 16 assists in 46 games across all competitions.
The centre-forward is a strong finisher with his right foot, left foot or his head. Additionally, his vision and creativity has gone up a level in the past year.
O’Hara has made the strong statement that he’s by far the best number nine in the country.
“I think if you want to guarantee yourself the Premier League title for the next two or three seasons, I think you sign Harry Kane [over Erling Haaland]. He’s doing it in the Premier League. He’s the best striker in the Premier League by a country mile,” he told talkSPORT.

TBR’s View:
If you look across the Premier League for the traditional number nines, you won’t find anyone that can match Kane.
With Sergio Aguero slowing down, there aren’t many in the division who you can put in the same conversation.
Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy is someone who deserves a special mention, plus the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Patrick Bamford and Ollie Watkins have all caught the eye this season.
However, Kane is miles ahead in terms of being a goalscoring striker. In the modern era it’s wingers such as Heung-Min Son and Mohamed Salah who push him closest in the golden boot race.
