Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara believes Eric Dier looked lost against Chelsea on Sunday.
The Lilywhites were impressively beaten 2-0 at home by the Blues, with Frank Lampard again getting one over on his former manager Jose Mourinho.
A brace from the superb Willian saw Chelsea take all three points, and it’s now back to the drawing board for Mourinho.

Spurs were unable to cause too many problems for their opponents, who were set up with three central defenders.
It quickly became clear that Lampard had tactically outwitted Mourinho, who appeared to admit he had got things wrong when he hooked Dier at half-time.
In the eyes of O’Hara, the England international really struggled.

He said on talkSPORT: “Eric Dier was really poor. He looked totally lost in midfield. He looked like he had no confidence. Didn’t pass the ball forwards, kept going backwards and sideways – the fans started getting frustrated with him.
“He should have brought Winks on. He gives you energy, he gives you passing all over the pitch – he gets around. He passes the ball forwards. He finds a pass and he keeps it moving.”
TBR’s view – Winks should always ahead of Dier
Mourinho’s long-term centre-midfield pairing simply has to be Winks and Tanguy Ndombele.

Arguably, Spurs have a better chance of building attacks from deep when Winks is starting.
As O’Hara rightfully states, the 23-year-old always seeks to play forwards, and against Chelsea he might have made more of a difference than Christian Eriksen did.
