Jamie O’Hara has heaped praise on Conor Coady after the Wolves defender made his England debut against Denmark earlier this week.
The ex-Wolves midfielder was discussing the club’s captain during his work as a pundit on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on Talksport.
Coady capped a remarkable couple of years by taking his bow for England, playing 90 minutes alongside Joe Gomez and Eric Dier in a back three.

O’Hara played over 50 times for the Molineux-based club and he has been raving about the current defender.
He told TalkSport: “If you play him in the middle of a back three he’s absolutely superb.
“I thought he did very well and he’s a good player to have in the England squad.”
Coady, 27, signed for Wolves in 2015 and has established himself as a first-team regular, a captain and as one of the Premier League’s top ball-playing defenders.
His call-up to the England squad was just rewards for five years of tireless work after being deemed surplus to requirements at Huddersfield Town.
Since Nuno Espirito Santo arrived at the club he has gone from strength to strength and amid a plethora of foreign import, Coady is still one of the club’s most integral players.
Solid
The versatile player has featured 235 times for Wolves, scoring twice and registering seven assists during his time at Molineux.
There is no reason why he can’t add to his England cap collection during the future.

The beauty of having Coady in the squad is the number of different roles he is capable of fulfilling.
He can play as part of a two-man or three-man central defence and can also operate as a holding midfielder if asked to do so.
Coady’s confidence will be bolstered going into the new season and surely he’ll be hoping to continue catching Gareth Southgate’s eye.
