Jamie O’Hara is convinced that Tottenham duo Dele Alli and Gareth Bale should both start this weekend in the Premier League.
The Spurs duo have both had difficult individual seasons where they’ve struggled for minutes and come under real scrutiny at times, but they shined last night in the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho’s side recorded a comprehensive 4-0 win over Wolfsberger in the Europa League Round of 32 second leg on Wednesday night, which gave them an 8-1 aggregate victory.
Alli, who started the match in the attacking midfield role, scored a brilliant overhead kick and made two assists.
Meanwhile, winger Bale came off the bench with an eye-catching cameo display and netted himself with a thunderous effort into the top corner.
O’Hara has explained on Twitter he would like to see both get rare starts in the league this weekend at home to Burnley.

TBR’s View:
It looks like 24-year-old Alli has come in from the cold and is starting to win over Mourinho in recent games.
The English playmaker has shown in the past he can be a real driving force in the Spurs team and the signs are extremely positive after his excellent European display in midweek.
The signs are also there that 31-year-old Welsh attacker Bale is beginning to find his feet with a string of impressive performances and he’s perhaps the one that looks more likely to be involved from the start against Burnley.
