Jamie O'Hara uses one word to mock Arsenal as they lose out at Newcastle tonight
Arsenal blew it big style tonight as Newcastle won 2-0 to give Tottenham a major advantage in the race for the top four.
Spurs now head into the final day with fourth spot in their hands, and know a win or a draw will see them take the final Champions League spot ahead of their big rivals.
For Arsenal, it was a miserable night at the office all around. Newcastle pressured and harried the Gunners all night and from the first minute, Arsenal never looked like they were going to get anything. Of course, their own fans will be gutted by the result, but onlooking Tottenham fans and pundits weren’t so forgiving.
What On Earth Is Going On At Bordeaux?
Of course, it was only going to be a matter of time before Jamie O’Hara had his say and he was straight on social media winding the Arsenal fans up. And in a response to a TalkSport question about how to describe Arsenal’s performance tonight, O’Hara was straight in there on the wind up.
O’Hara has spent all week being nervous about both results. But in the end, he’s got what he wanted and will no doubt be ready to strut into the studio tomorrow with a big grin on his face.
TBR’s View: O’Hara Will Revel In Arsenal Defeat At Newcastle
He’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but you can’t blame O’Hara here for getting stuck in. Spurs have a top four place in their hands now and Arsenal, ultimately, bottled it.
The Gunners have such a long way to go and this squad needs adding to in the summer. They need a striker, a defender, and two central midfielders at the very least.
Tottenham, meanwhile, can get their heads down and focus on the weekend. And you feel it’s not a chance they’re going to pass up.
