TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has criticised Davinson Sanchez for his performance as Tottenham lost 5-4 to Everton in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.
The former Spurs midfielder was critical of the Colombian – despite the fact he scored twice for his team at Goodison Park.
Sanchez signed for Spurs in 2017 from Ajax, costing the club £30 million (BBC Sport). He has made 138 appearances for Tottenham but hasn’t been a regular in the team this season.

Sanchez bagged two goals in the recent defeat but O’Hara has slammed the 24-year-old for his latest performance.
He told TalkSPORT: “You go away from home, score four and lose the game, it’s ridiculous. I love the way Spurs played, they attacked, from the first minute they’re on the front foot.
“I went to put the kettle on and we’re 3-1 down. It was a great game for the neutral and I really enjoyed it but the defending was shocking.
“Davinson Sanchez scored two goals but he was our worst player.
“As much as Mourinho will say it was good in an attacking sense, he will be raging at the defending.”
TBR View: O’Hara’s comments somewhat bizarre
Sanchez has had his critics in the past and perhaps he isn’t the long-term solution to shoring up Tottenham’s defence.
To blast him for his efforts on Wednesday though are perhaps a little bit harsh.
The four aerials he won were the most of any Tottenham player, whilst he also made two tackles and four clearances (Who Scored).

Add to that the fact he gave Spurs a couple of lifelines with two goals and O’Hara’s comments don’t make a deal of sense.
The £65,000-a-week star wasn’t directly at fault for any of Everton’s five goals and Hugo Lloris perhaps deserves more critique.
Sanchez isn’t exactly flavour of the month at Tottenham but the statistics show that O’Hara is somewhat wide of the mark.
