Jamie O’Hara has told Sky Sports that Arsenal, West Ham and Leicester should be worried – after Tottenham announced Antonio Conte on Tuesday.
Conte, 52, joins Tottenham on an 18-month deal until the summer of June 2023. There is believed to be a 12-month extension included in that deal.
The Italian gaffer was in talks with Tottenham in the summer, and he has addressed that – stating he was still emotionally connected with Inter Milan.
But now, Conte has put pen to paper at Spurs. Reports state that he even slept at Tottenham’s training ground last night. He is waiting on a Visa.
Reacting to the news, O’Hara spoke after Conte was announced. He thinks Arsenal, Leicester and West Ham will be looking over their shoulder.

“I can’t express how amazing this appointment is,” O’Hara said. “He is a leader. Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juve. Absolutely fantastic.
“What I will say is Arsenal, Leicester, West Ham – they’re going to be worried because Tottenham Hotspur are back now, with a vengeance.”
O’Hara on Conte: Tottenham are a different animal, now
Tottenham’s players must take a look in the mirror, now. Towards the end of Mauricio Pochettino’s era, players became disillusioned.
Under Jose Mourinho, players did not put the effort in. It was similar with Nuno Espirito Santo, with stories being constantly leaked.
Now, Conte has arrived. It will be amazing to see if there any leaks from the squad, and if the lacklustre effort continues in training.
All players will start giving 100% again because of Conte. If they do not, then they will be thrown on the scrapheap – including Harry Kane.
