'I guarantee you': Jamie O'Hara has just made a huge Tottenham claim involving Leeds and Arsenal
Tottenham supporter and TalkSPORT regular, Jamie O’Hara, has just made a huge claim about Spurs with fellow pundit, Gabby Agbonlahor.
O’Hara, known for being vocal in his opinions about his beloved Spurs and at the same time, being quick to shoot down Arsenal, has been live on air with Agbonlahor this evening. And of course, the topic of conversation got onto the Gunners and Spurs’ fight for the top four.
And, as ever, O’Hara was in a confident mood with his fellow present Agbonlahor, as he made a bet with the former Villa striker that Tottenham would easily finish above Arsenal this season.
“Spurs will finish above Arsenal,” O’Hara said on TalkSPORT, Before Agbonlahor responded by saying he’ll take the bet with O’Hara, offering to wear a Leeds United shirt for five shows if Arsenal fail to usurp their rivals.
However, Agbonlahor chucked into the mix that O’Hara would need to wear an Arsenal shirt if Tottenham let him down, something that didn’t seem to fluster the former Spurs midfielder.
“Yeah. I’m happy to take the bet because I guarantee we’re going to finish above Arsenal. Look, first 30 minutes last night they looked like Barcelona, but…”
TBR’s View: Arsenal And Tottenham Could Go To The Wire
In fact, they could both end up usurpring Chelsea and Manchester United, based on the opening weekend anyway.
Tottenham and Arsenal are now fighting neck and neck for a Champions League place and based on this weekend’s showings, both could have enough in the locker to succeed.
It’s interesting to hear Agbonlahor and O’Hara going back and forth on this to be honest. Both make good points, and both Spurs and Arsenal looked good this weekend. There is, as we know, a long way to go. But for pure excitement purposes, this is one to watch this season.
