Jamie Carragher has now been comparing how Bayern Munich are deploying Harry Kane in a similar way to Tottenham Hotspur often did.
Kane’s Bayern side were frustrated in the Champions League last night, losing 1-0 away to Lazio.

The defeat will have done very little to ease the pressure on Thomas Tuchel, who is failing to live up to Bayern’s lofty standards.
And Kane’s pursuit of major trophies in Germany may now have to wait another season unless things quickly turn around.
That being said, Jamie Carragher was discussing how well Kane fronted up to the media last night on CBS Sports.
Carragher thought that Kane came out and said all the right things to minimise the pressure on Bayern, just as he used to do at Tottenham.
The pundit felt as if Kane had simply fallen into a familiar rhythm, saying all the right things and avoiding any inflammation.
Jamie Carragher says Harry Kane is repeating Tottenham trick at Bayern Munich
Explaining his thoughts, Carragher said: “Harry Kane, I have heard him do that interview so often before when a game hasn’t gone well.
“I think sometimes as a manager and as the club you think who can go out and do the right thing and not say something that will create headlines and he always says the right thing, he knows what to say, and what he says is spot on.

“I think at the time when the scrutiny is on in the media now will be really intense about what Bayern are doing as a team, there will definitely be questions about the manager and his role.
“So I think it’s really important there is nobody saying something that will inflame the situation.”
Of course, this isn’t the exact situation that Kane left Tottenham to join Bayern for.
A bold call
It was always going to be the way that any Bayern struggles this year would beg the question – did Kane make a mistake leaving Spurs?
Ange Postecoglou’s project is obviously an exciting one, and it’s fascinating to think how good it could have been with Kane spearheading the team.
But in truth, Kane probably isn’t regretting his decision just yet.
It seems Bayern’s problems are mainly stemming from Tuchel simply not being a good fit at the club, even if he is an excellent manager.
But away from the Harry Kane at Bayen, Tottenham fans will be pleased to see an exciting young player finally improving on loan last night.
