Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has described Reds ace Mohamed Salah as the “best player in the world” for his display against Everton.
The Liverpool forward has been in superb form throughout his time at Anfield, but this season he’s really taken it up a notch.
Prior to Liverpool’s Premier League trip to Merseyside rivals Everton, Salah had netted a staggering 17 goals in 18 appearances this term.

And against the Toffees, the 29-year-old grabbed the game’s second goal in typically stunning fashion.
Jordan Henderson, who netted the opener at Goodison Park, released Salah in behind Lucas Digne, who was out of position.
The Egyptian surged into the area before opening up his body and curling a stunning effort beyond Jordan Pickford.
Here is how Carragher reacted on Twitter:
Everton managed to halve the deficit in the 38th minute through Demarai Gray.
However, Salah struck again just after the hour mark to restore Liverpool’s two-goal advantage.
The Reds ace raced away from Seamus Coleman following an Everton mistake and coolly rolled a shot into the far corner.
And Carragher simply retweeted his initial tweet about the Liverpool star:

Liverpool ended up running out 4-1 winners over Everton as Diogo Jota added a fourth for the visitors late on.
